Taking Back Sundays

Beginning August 2, 2026, First Christian Church of Lyons is excited to launch a new season of discipleship, connection, and community.

In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions, we believe Sundays are worth reclaiming. Before the busyness of the week begins, we want to create space to gather, grow, and be transformed together as we pursue our mission: To Know Jesus and Make His Name Known.

Each Sunday morning will begin with breakfast and fellowship at 8:30 a.m., followed by Growing Together groups at 9:00 a.m. for every stage of life:

• Kingdom Kids – A fun and engaging environment where children learn about God's love and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

• By the Well Student Ministries – A place for middle and high school students to build authentic friendships, ask honest questions, and deepen their faith.

• Adult Groups – Meaningful conversations centered on Scripture, spiritual growth, and living out our faith in everyday life.

Worship will continue at 10:00 a.m. as we gather around God's Word, prayer, worship, and the Lord's Table.
